Kreupasanam Testimony of Razzaq from Kannur

From Desperation to Divine Intervention: The Testimony of Razzaq from Kannur

In the town of Payyavoor in Kannur lives a Muslim man named Razzaq with his wife and son. Rassack is running a small shop near the bus stand to support his family. His life was simple, but suddenly it became unbearably heavy.

A Man Crushed by Debt

Razzaq had fallen into enormous financial debt. The burden was suffocating. Creditors were pressing, income was limited, and there seemed to be no way out.

He owned a property which he had been trying to sell for ₹50 lakhs, hoping it would rescue him from his crisis. But months passed. There were no buyers.

Hopelessness slowly consumed him. He was desperate.

A Suggestion That Changed Everything

Seeing his helpless condition, someone advised him to visit the renowned Marian Shrine in alappuzha, Kreupasanam, and take an Udambadi (a covenant prayer).

Being a Muslim, Razzaq initially hesitated. It was unfamiliar territory. But when a man reaches the end of his strength, he becomes open to grace. With nothing left to lose, he went and took the Udampadi.

The Rosary Maha Rally Experience

After taking the Udambadi, Rassaq participated in the Kreupasanam Rosary Maha Rally held on the last Saturday of October 2025. As he joined thousands in reciting the Holy Rosary, the rally moved towards its destination — the historic Arthunkal Basilica.

By the time the rally reached the Basilica, Razzaq was physically exhausted because of the 20 Kms walk.

But then something extraordinary happened.

He suddenly felt a cool breeze touching him. Instantly, he was refreshed. Strength returned to his body. More than physical relief, he experienced what he describes as a Heavenly anointing.

From that moment, something changed within him. His faith in Jesus Christ and the Holy Virgin Mother Mary grew stronger.

A Shop Turned Into a Mission Field

After this experience, Razzaq did not remain silent.

Back at his small shop near the Payyavoor bus stand, he began proclaiming the Gospel boldly — even to non-Christians. He distributed copies of the Kreupasanam newspaper, claiming that he has shared nearly 2,000 copies. Whenever alone he used to read the Holy bible and recite the Rosary Prayer.

He also encouraged and brought others to the Marian Shrine.

When he met the Director of Kreupasanam, Rev. Fr. Joseph Valiyaveettil, he blessed him and gave a Kreupasanam Medal and advised him to sprinkle blessed salt on his property.

The Miracle Sale

What happened next left everyone astonished.

The property that had no buyers at ₹50 lakhs was suddenly bought by one of his own friends — not for ₹50 lakhs — but for ₹60 lakhs.

A completely unexpected turn.

Razzaq firmly believes this was the miraculous intervention of Jesus Christ through the intercession of the Holy Virgin Mother.

A Family Transformed

After witnessing these impossible events, Razzaq has become a staunch believer. His wife and family too testify that they have seen extraordinary and unexpected blessings in their lives.

This is not merely a story of financial recovery.

It is a testimony of how grace can reach anyone — beyond religion, beyond hesitation, beyond doubt.

When desperation meets faith, miracles unfold.

Jesus Christ is the Lord and God of all...
