✨ A Powerful Testimony of Healing and Faith from Kochi
This is yet another astonishing testimony from a poor Hindu lady from Thammanam, Kochi—a mother of two young boys. She was diagnosed with cancer and was completely shattered when the doctor told her that the chances of recovery were very low.
Her testimony is shared below in her own words.
๐️ “I Stand Here by Grace”
I am able to stand today and share my testimony on the altar where the Mother of God appeared. I am deeply grateful to my Heavenly Mother and to Jesus.
My name is Diya Sivadasan, and I am from Thammanam in Ernakulam district. I was going through the most difficult phase of my life. In January 2025, I came to know about the Kreupasanam Mother of Grace. Around the same time, I was diagnosed with bone marrow cancer.
I have two small children—one is five years old and the other is three. I did not know what to do. My husband was away, and my father, who is also unwell, was the only one with me.
I became very weak. My legs were swollen and painful. We are a financially struggling family, and I had no idea how we would manage the treatment. Like anyone in my situation, I asked the doctor if I would survive. The doctor said that cancer is incurable and may return again and again.
Heartbroken, I dropped my children at school and requested their teacher to take special care of them in case I could not return.
๐ A Turning Point
At that moment, an LKG teacher, Miss Darli, noticed me crying and came to me. When I told her about my condition, she asked if I could come with her to Kreupasanam.
I told her I could barely walk. My legs were swollen, and I was breathless. But she encouraged me and said she would help me.
With great difficulty, I went with her by bus. My swelling worsened during the journey, and I could hardly get down. But she supported me and took me inside the shrine near the altar.
As I sat there and stretched my legs, I was shocked—the swelling had completely disappeared.
I could not believe it. I had come with swollen feet, but suddenly there was no swelling at all.
๐ช Strength Beyond Human Ability
Miss Darli then told me to go to the second floor to make an “Udambadi” (offering). I wondered how I could even climb one floor, as I usually became breathless.
But something extraordinary happened.
I climbed two floors without stopping. There was no breathlessness, no pain. I could not believe what had just happened.
๐ฐ Miraculous Provision
After returning home, I was worried about money. I had no idea how I would manage the treatment expenses.
One day, I heard a loud sound in my room. When I looked around, I found money lying near my clothes. It was as if I was being reminded not to forget God’s providence.
Later, when I was admitted to the hospital, money began to come in unexpectedly. Strangers contributed. Funds appeared in my account. People even handed me cash directly.
Despite having nothing, everything was provided.
๐ฏ️ Divine Presence
During my suffering, I experienced something I cannot fully explain.
One morning, I heard my mother’s voice calling me for prayer—but she was actually asleep downstairs.
Another night, while I was in isolation, unable to see my children, I prayed for peace. When I opened my eyes, I saw a figure of the Mother standing near me. I felt no fear—only comfort.
From that moment, I knew I was not alone.
๐ฅ Healing and Recovery
There were days when I could not eat or even speak. The doctor warned that without eating, my chances of recovery were low.
Following guidance, I began rinsing with salt water. On the third day, I was finally able to eat. The doctor said this was a turning point and that recovery was now possible.
Today, all my test results are negative.
Before every test, I pray, anoint myself, and place my trust in God. I am not a Christian, and I knew nothing about prayers or the Bible. But I began praying the Rosary daily and reading the Bible with the help of an app.
Slowly, I grew closer to Jesus.
๐ผ Restoration of Life
I work at InfoPark. During my illness, I feared losing my job. But I prayed sincerely.
Soon, I received a call from my office saying I could return to work if I provided a fitness certificate. By God’s grace, I rejoined my job.
Now, even my colleagues come to me and ask me to pray for them.
❤️ A Life of Gratitude and Service
This experience transformed my life.
I began helping others—cooking food for the needy, supporting patients, visiting hospitals, and encouraging those who are afraid.
Even with limited means, I try to contribute to those in need every month.
I also share my experience with others, especially cancer patients, encouraging them not to lose hope.
๐ธ A Message of Hope
Cancer is a difficult disease, but more than anything, it requires courage. When we lose hope, we lose everything. But when we trust in God, strength comes from within.
Today, I am not afraid anymore.
My Mother and Jesus are with me. I believe I have been given a second life—for my children and for others.
I will remain faithful for the rest of my life.
