Miracle through Kreupasanam Paper to Non Christian family

From Debt and Despair to Divine Grace: The Testimony of Sathyan MC from Thiruvalla

My name is Sathyan MC, and I am from Thiruvalla. This is my wife Mini. With deep gratitude in my heart, I stand today as a witness to the grace and blessings we received through the prayers at Kreupasanam. What I am about to share is not just a story of financial recovery, but a journey of faith, trust, and experiencing the living presence of God in our lives.

Life Before the Crisis

Before the COVID-19 pandemic, I worked as a contract laborer and interior contractor. I handled several small projects and had a good team of workers. Life was going well. I had vehicles, workers, and steady income.

But everything changed after COVID.

Several of my worksites closed down. Projects stopped suddenly. Workers left. Within a short period, I lost almost everything and fell into heavy debt of more than ₹25 lakhs. I couldn’t even start new work because there were no opportunities. For a long time, I did not earn even a single rupee.

Debt is very painful when it is owed to many individuals rather than a bank. When ten different people expect their money back, someone will always come to your home asking for it. Most of the time I stayed away, but my wife had to face them.

The humiliation, the accusations, and the loss of trust were unbearable.

A Difficult Time at Home

During this difficult period, my 92-year-old father became bedridden. He needed constant care for everything—getting up, eating, and even going to the bathroom. Seeing him suffer in pain broke our hearts.

I stopped taking work to stay with him and take care of him.

At the same time, our financial situation kept worsening. Our house and a small 10-cent property were in my father’s name, and there was already a bank loan on it. Eventually, revenue recovery notices started arriving from the bank.

I had lost my vehicles. My credit score was badly affected, and no bank was willing to offer me a loan. At the age of 53, I felt completely helpless.

Struggling in Kozhikode

In the middle of all these problems, a company in Kozhikode that knew my work called me and offered some projects. I went there with a few workers, hoping to rebuild my life.

For nearly three years, I worked there.

Although the projects were big, the biggest problem was payment delays. Workers demanded wages, and many disputes arose. Some people even filed legal complaints over small amounts.

Instead of solving my financial problems, the situation pushed me deeper into debt. Finally, I returned home, exhausted and hopeless.

The Turning Point: Discovering Kreupasanam

At that time, a woman showed my wife a Kreupasanam newspaper and told her:

"If you go to Kreupasanam and take the Marian Covenant (Udambadi), your problems will change."

We had never heard or visited Kreupasanam before. I was born and raised in a Hindu family, and I didn’t know anything about the covenant or its meaning.

But in our helpless situation, we decided to go.

On January 11, 2023, I came to Kreupasanam and took the Udambadi (Marian Covenant).

Small Miracles Begin

After attending the covenant classes and beginning daily prayers, something unexpected started happening.

From the very next day, small changes began.

Customers who had earlier rejected me started calling again. New job opportunities slowly began to appear. Work started coming again little by little.

Although my debts were still there, I felt hope returning to my life.

A Financial Breakthrough

One of my biggest worries was the ₹12 lakh bank loan on our property. The bank had already sent legal notices.

At that time, a friend stepped forward and helped me by arranging a temporary loan to clear the bank’s dues so that my property would not be seized. It felt like a miracle because no one had been willing to help earlier.

Later, through another friend and some unexpected connections, I got an opportunity to approach a bank again. Despite my poor credit history, things started moving in my favor.

The bank manager personally visited and reviewed my situation. To my surprise, the process moved forward smoothly.

On February 25, I was able to settle the major debt with the help of the new loan arrangement.

For me, this was nothing less than Mother’s blessing.

Restoration and New Beginnings

Earlier, I had lost all my vehicles due to financial struggles.

Today, by God’s grace, I have been able to purchase two new vehicles, and my work has started improving again.

More importantly, our spiritual life has changed completely.

My wife and I now gather for daily prayer. We pray regularly and try to live according to the commitment we made through the Marian Covenant.

A New Mission: Helping Others

The blessings we received inspired us to help others as well.

Today, whenever possible, I try to:

  • Help small businesses

  • Support bedridden patients

  • Share the Kreupasanam newspaper with others

Some people mock us when we distribute it, but we continue with a smile. Even if it helps one person who is suffering like we once did, it is worth it.

Recently, I met a man suffering from stage-four cancer who was struggling to afford treatment. In my heart, I desire to help him too, if Mother blesses me with the ability.

The Power of God’s Presence

One Bible verse that touched my heart deeply is from Exodus 3:12:

"I will be with you."

When Moses felt weak and incapable, God did not promise him strength or skills first. Instead, He promised His presence.

If God is with us, every mission becomes possible.

We may face financial problems, health struggles, or family difficulties. But when we believe that God walks with us, we are never alone.

A Message of Faith

The Bible reminds us:

  • Romans 10:11“Those who believe in Him will never be put to shame.”

  • Mark 10:27“What is impossible for humans is possible for God.”

  • Matthew 21:22“Whatever you ask in prayer with faith, you will receive.”

Through the Marian Covenant, we learn to live with the constant awareness that God is with us.

That faith changed my life.

A Word of Gratitude

Today, I thank Jesus Christ and Mother Mary with all my heart for the grace they poured into our lives.

From debt, humiliation, and despair, God lifted our family and gave us a new beginning.

May this testimony encourage anyone who is struggling today.

Trust in God. Pray with faith. Commit your life to Him.

Nothing is impossible for God.

Praise be to Lord Jesus Christ! Ave Maria!
